Suzo Happ and Sign4U expand their plants in Argentina and Uruguay

In Argentina, Suzo Happ has doubled its 650 sqm plant so it currently has 1,300 sqm comprising offices, store and production plant. Besides it has almost tripled the team dedicated to production, assembly and technical services, counting with 28 people so far.

In Uruguay, Suzo counts with a distribution center and a production plant from Sign4U, which has rented a new 1,400 sqm building, inside industrial park Zonamericas, which will beaded to the 700 sqm it currently has. Nowadays, it has 18 workers between the two companies, exclusively dedicated to production, logistics and services.

The main aim of both expansions is to satisfy the commercial commitments and expand the production capacity of signs due to the great demand of this type of products.

Jens Peiler, Director of Suzo Happ and Signs4U, gave his opinion on why make investments in a moment in which the worldwide scenario looks complicated due to the financial crisis. “Some investments were planned from half 2008, and due to commercial agreements established with leading firms in the gaming area, as well as the great demand of signs, we do not have another choice than face the investments planned and also double the initially planned investments.”

“That decision was taken, in the first place, to comply with the commitments acquired with our customers and also because we consider absolutely necessary to expand our production capacity both in Uruguay and Argentina to satisfy the future demand.”

“For us, there are two crucial aspects that are our best presentation card, one of them is the strict compliance of the commitments assumed, and the other is to maintain, and if possible, exceed, the level of quality of our products, and for both aspects it is key to have a good production capacity and equipment according to our needs,” he pointed.
