The regulator of the Argentine capital will receive applications until January 31 to tender an online and real-time betting data management system.

Interested parties must be legal persons whose corporate purpose is related to the purpose of the contract. By the end of November, it had canceled the tender launched in July 2018, due to differences in the price of the dollar and the imminence of online gaming legalization.

Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires (LOTBA) informed that as of January 7, the entity will be receiving applications and suggestions for the Technical Specifications, Terms and Conditions of the public bidding projects.

Applications and suggestions must be submitted online. Additionally, a username and password will be assigned to each authorized party. Another authorized route is via the delivery of a sealed envelope addressed to the Procurement and Contracting Manager of LOTBA S.E. (Santiago del Estero 126/140, 3rd floor, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires).

To this avail, interested parties should email [email protected] including the following information: name or business name, CUIT, data of the legal representative or attorney with sufficient powers of representation, email and contact telephone. Likewise, they must attach a certified copy of the bylaws with their respective amendments, the act of appointment of authorities and the power of attorney, if applicable. The required information is available on the LOTBA website.

It is worth noting that LOTBA had launched a certification in July to hire a comprehensive online data capture service in real time. At the end of November, the entity issued a resolution that halted the process, arguing the dollar pricing fluctuations and the imminence of regulated online gambling, before finally passing the sports betting bill on December 13, 2018. Then, the Lottery announced that it would carry out a comprehensive review of the conditions before announcing a new tender.
