(Belgium).- The Belgian Gaming Commission has announced that live dealer gaming operated from abroad is now prohibited. The continued compilation of operators deemed to be operating illegally in the country will be completed by February 4, which is the deadline for the compilation.

All operators offering live gaming in the Belgian market are instructed to report as such to the Belgian Gaming Commission by Friday, January 16, after which the commission will appraise and inform those who may continue to do so during its committee meeting scheduled for some time in February.

The commission will initiate legal sanctions after this date on those considered to be operating illegally in the market.

Licensed operators introducing new online gambling games into the market are urged to clear games with the Commission if any doubt exists on whether they are permissible.
