(US).- The Delaware Lottery reported revenue from the state’s online gaming market amounted to USD 184,898 in November, which represents a significant jump on the USD 130,469 generated in October.

T

he state has recovered from a slump in online gaming revenue after operators in November collected the fourth-highest monthly total for winnings since internet gambling was regulated last year.

Although the figure is certainly short of the record monthly revenue of USD 240,762, which was posted in December of last year, the November total is one of the highest amounts recorded in recent months and the fourth-highest monthly total since online gaming was regulated in Delaware last November.

This year’s November total is also far ahead of the USD 111,387 generated in the first month of regulated online gaming in November 2013.

Delaware Park remains the most popular operator in the state by a wide margin, boasting a market share of around two-thirds with revenue of US$122,894.

Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway took in USD 31,421 and USD 30,582 respectively in November.

Online poker activity in the state also improved, with revenue from such operations up 15% from USD 28,465 in October to USD 32,814 last month.

However, this figure falls a  short by a wide margin of the record USD 106,922 collected in December 2013.
