(UK).- Engaging customers as the key to growth will be one of the cornerstone themes covered at the CRM and Retention in Gaming Conference, part of the learning programme which runs in parallel with ICE Totally Gaming exhibition (January 24-26, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London).

bwin.party digital entertainment's head of Customer Value Management, Andrew Bluemi, will open the debate with a seminar entitled  'Retention is not enough - engagement is the key', where he will discuss topics such as how declining returns in the current economic climate are a given unless companies invest in engagement programmes.

Yeemay Huang, Marketing Manager responsible for ICE Conferences, said: "Simply maintaining existing customers is no longer a viable solution to riding out the recession, and a customer engagement strategy is vital for the long term health of gaming businesses everywhere. This is a critical topic for the industry and ICE will see us bring together the most respected thought leaders to share ideas and discuss the optimum strategies for customer engagement."

She added: "The conference programme at ICE Totally Gaming delivers a unique chance to benefit from targeted learning and networking at the same time as seeing the latest trends, technologies and gaming solutions. In addition to the CRM and Retention in Gaming Conference, the programme includes: the 4th International Casino Conference, 8th annual Combating Cybercrime, World Regulatory Briefing UK, Multi-Channel Lottery Summit, Integrating Offline & Online Gaming, Mobile Gaming and Monetising Social In Gaming."
