hat are your expectations and objectives for G2E Asia?
TCS John Huxley is very pleased to be exhibiting once again at G2E Asia and will be showcasing a range of innovative products. The revolutionary MultiPLAY HD Auto incorporating the Gemini wheel will be debuted in Asia for the first time, as will Double ActionTM Roulette featuring EL technology layout, a unique variation to the traditional game of Roulette, delivering two winning numbers from a single spin!
The Gaming Floor Live system, which is generating immense interest worldwide, sees the launch of additional products to the range, which are tailored specifically to the Asian market. In addition to all of this, the TCS John Huxley Asia team will be on hand to welcome customers and offer their legendary hospitality.
Will the firm launch new products focused on the Asian market? Which are their main features?
Traditional products continue to be a primary focus due to demand, however there is much interest in newly launched technology products such as Gaming Floor LiveTM - a Real-Time Roulette game optimisation tool designed to maximise key performance areas and profitability; and Supernova Table Bonus system - a powerful progressive and game bonus system that drives increased revenues by adding higher levels of player excitement and loyalty to your table games.
We have been working in Asia for over 25 years and our experienced team is continually assessing the requirements in the region by developing new designs to suit our customers. The TCS John Huxley research and development team are currently working on new Baccarat software products that are due to be launched at the G2E Asia.
Which trends do you expect to see this year at the show?
We can’t say what other companies will be showcasing, but TCS John Huxley experienced a great deal of success across the whole product portfolio in Singapore for the opening of the two IR’s. This is due to the larger game mix in this region where we have been particularly successful in sales of roulette related products including Novo Unity II TouchBet, Chipper Champ chipping machines, Roulette wheels & Roulette displays.
Our Omni Baccarat Displays incorporating the Gaming Floor Live system have been installed on over 350 tables, in Cotai’s newest property Galaxy Macau, along with 15 Saturn Wheels with e-FX double sided Animator displays, 26 Set of Sicbo electronics and 2 Sets of Fan Tan electronics both inclusive of e-FX Animator displays, 106 electronic customised table signs incorporating the Galaxy Logo and various sundry items.
We continue our success with electronic Sicbo and displays throughout Asia as well as gaming layouts. The layout business has proved very successful and we now have 3 printers running in our Macau operations to cope with demand providing quick turnaround times whilst maintaining quality we are renowned for.
How important is Macau's market for your company?
Macau and the whole Asian region are incredibly important to TCS John Huxley, which is why we have committed substantial resource in setting up comprehensive facilities in Macau and Singapore. It is very important in this market to have a presence on the ground, as customers quite rightly so, need to be assured they will receive prompt and efficient after sales service and support.
Macau is currently considered the leading international gaming market surpassing Las Vegas. Do you think that it is a market with options to keep on growing?
Macau will continue to grow but at a slower pace than previous years. However, Asia in general is an expanding market with countries such as Vietnam seeing some growth. Other territories in the region will be dependent on changes to the law. A forthcoming referendum in Taiwan could see potential development as well as areas in southern Asia such as India and Sri Lanka.
As operators from different Asian countries visit G2E in Macau, which is your strategy for the Asian market in general?
We have been working in Asia for over 25 years and our experienced team is continually assessing the requirements in the region. We have devoted substantial resources in Asia and the strategy is to continue focusing on investment in R&D, a great range of products, superior after sales service and support and most importantly, understanding what our customers want.
