Ticket In, Ticket Out gaming has seen strong growth over the past 10 years

Octavian TITO launches following agreement with IGT/MGM/Bally

(UK).- Octavian International has introduced its own TITO functionality for slots following the signing of multiple agreements with IGT on behalf of the IGT/MGM/Bally cashless consortium. The agreements give the systems, games and supplies specialist its own licences to use the consortium's Cashless patents in the Octavian TITO product.

s a result, Octavian TITO (Ticket In, Ticket Out) will be available for systems, new machines and machine upgrades at, what Octavian says, will be “a highly competitive price’” on a worldwide basis.

For systems, the new TITO solution will be an option within Octavian’s Symphony CE (Casino Edition) system. As with other modules in Octavian’s latest end-to-end slots and tables casino management system, the TITO module can simply be activated for those customers that require cost-efficient control of ticket-based gaming. Octavian TITO will also be available as an add-on for customers using Octavian's ACP (Accounting, Control, Progressives) slots management system.

Commenting on the development, Peter Moffitt, President and CTO of Octavian said: “We are delighted with the TITO agreements with the consortium as it further emphasises the world-class quality and flexibility of Octavian’s solutions.”

“Furthermore, the Octavian TITO product enables our customers worldwide to benefit from ticket-based gaming through an easy to use, competitively priced and fully legitimate TITO solution,” added Moffitt.

Ticket In, Ticket Out gaming has seen strong growth over the past 10 years, with some larger US casino operators now operating several thousand TITO gaming machines per venue. Ticket-based play removes the need for frequent coin refills and the coin changes required to play different denominations. Players can move funds easily between gaming machines and benefit from uninterrupted play and reduced gaming machine downtime.
