Gtech names new Senior VP of Global Government Relations

(US).- Gtech Corporation announced that it has promoted Scott Gunn to Senior Vice President of Global Government Relations and U.S. Business Development, reporting to the company’s President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel.

"

Scott is a seasoned strategist who understands the intricacies within governments, has a vast knowledge of Gtech operations, and knows how to effectively bring these two disciplines together for both our customers and the company," said Patel.

"As a result, his work on behalf of our customers has required substantial interaction with government, political, media, and community representatives. Scott has spent his entire career in state and national politics, and has built strong relationships at all levels of government. All of this makes him ideally suited to interact with key government officials and community representatives in addressing the various governmental and civic issues that impact Gtech and our subsidiaries," Patel added.

As Senior Vice President of Global Government Relations and US Business Development, Gunn is responsible for worldwide government relations leadership and strategy for the company. He will guide Gtech’s global network of government relations consultants to maintain appropriate government relationships and work to develop the Company’s lines of business.

Gunn will also lead Gtech’s US Business Development organization to ensure that Gtech is aligned with, and positioned to support, the objectives of company’s customers, and to pursue the most significant domestic business opportunities for the firm.

He has worked for Gtech since 1994 in various positions in sales, business development, public affairs, and global operations. Most recently, he spent two years as the Vice President, Western Region Operations, overseeing activities of eight western region sites.
