90 % of the jobs are full time and 90 % will be filled locally, said Mickey Trageser, Sands Bethlehem’s vice president of human resources. Sands has already received 3,400 applicants for the jobs and expects more than 10,000 in total, Trageser said. “The company plans to hire another possible 800 employees when an adjacent hotel, mall and convention center open,” she said.
