Since Vega announced its plan to launch the Latin American Poker Tour, media outlets Fox Business Network, CNN Money, MSN Money, Forbes.com and many others have profiled the company's plan to crown the number one poker player in Latin America.

Vega's plan for the inaugural LAPT 2008 season will include tournaments in eight Latin American countries, including Puerto Rico, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, with a season ending Tournament of Champions to crown the number one poker player in Latin America.

The programming will be produced by Vega and aired throughout Latin America. As Executive Producer for the LAPT, Vega will own 100% of the programming and is currently negotiating for airtime with a major cable provider that would allow the Company to profit from selling its own advertising for the programs. A successful season could provide several million dollars of income to Vega.

Michael Herron, CEO of Vega stated: "We have received tremendous interest about the Tour from all over the world. This is a clear example of how professional poker has expanded and this is exactly why we felt the time was right for this type of Poker Tour. There are many good players in Latin America and we look forward to seeing them play against the world's top professionals to find the number one poker player in Latin America." “Our goal is to make the LAPT one of the most popular Poker Tours in the world.”
