FanDuel secured approval to expand its online poker operations in Michigan through a multi-state model effective April 1, 2026.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) said the operator meets all requirements to conduct multi-state internet poker. The authorization allows FanDuel to offer pooled gameplay across Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

“FanDuel is a well-established operator in the Michigan gaming market,” MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams said. “Michigan players can have confidence in the integrity of the games they play, backed by the same rigorous oversight the MGCB applies across all licensed gaming activity.”

FanDuel will deliver its poker product in Michigan under the PokerStars brand. MotorCity Casino will act as the in-state operator partner for the offering.

Michigan entered the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) in 2022. The agreement allows participating states to combine online poker player pools. Current members include Delaware, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Before joining MSIGA, online poker in Michigan was limited to players located within the state. The MGCB said additional details, including the Multistate Poker Submission Form, are available on its website.

The regulator said the approval supports legal and regulated gaming activity while maintaining responsible gaming standards and oversight across licensed operations.
