Coushatta Casino Resort will increase its room inventory to more than 1,000 this May following the opening of a new eight-story hotel tower in Kinder, Louisiana.
The development will introduce 204 guest rooms and 100 luxury suites. The tower is directly connected to the existing resort and located near the gaming floor, dining outlets, entertainment venues, and other amenities.
The additional inventory is intended to accommodate guests visiting for gaming, golf, and entertainment offerings at the property.
Leaders of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and resort executives are scheduled to host a formal grand opening in May. Representatives from TBE Architects, Yates Construction, and The Wenaha Group, which collaborated on the design and construction of the tower, are expected to attend.
“This expansion reflects the continued vision and long-term investment in the future of Coushatta Casino Resort,” said Nate Tanner, General Manager of Coushatta Casino Resort.
“For more than three decades, Coushatta has served as an economic engine for our region. This new hotel tower strengthens our ability to welcome more guests, create new jobs, and enhance the overall resort experience for years to come.”
Coushatta Casino Resort opened in 1995 and has grown into Louisiana’s largest casino resort, drawing visitors from Texas, Louisiana, and the Gulf South.
The new hotel tower is expected to add positions across hospitality and operations while increasing available accommodations at the resort.
