Potomac Winter Poker Open returns to MGM National Harbor on Feb. 11–23

The Potomac Winter Poker Open is set to make its return to MGM National Harbor from February 11 to 23.

This year’s series introduces a refreshed format featuring a wide range of multi-day tournaments, mixed games, and a dedicated charity series, all hosted in the heart of the casino at The Poker Room.

Headlining the schedule is a $500,000 guaranteed Opener with seven starting flights, alongside a $750,000 guaranteed Main Event. Additional tournaments include the Cakes Classic Bounty, the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP), Double Stack No Limit Hold’em, and several other events designed to appeal to players of varying skill levels and preferences.

MGM National Harbor has also announced a change to its buy-in structure. The casino will no longer withhold an automatic gratuity from tournament buy-ins. Instead, each event will feature an optional add-on, which is included in the total buy-in listed on the official schedule. Starting stack sizes reflect the optional add-on, with full details available in individual structure sheets.
