DR Gaming Technology closed 2025 on a high, marking the strongest growth year in the company’s history and reinforcing its position as a trusted provider of enterprise-level casino technology. Major CMS and jackpot deployments with leading operators across Europe and beyond not only highlighted the scale at which DRGT now operates but also underscored its ability to deliver complex, mission-critical systems in diverse regulatory and operational environments.
In this exclusive interview with Yogonet, DRGT's CEO Marco Herrera reflects on the lessons learned from a year defined by integration, real-world validation, and data-driven innovation. The conversation explores the industry trends shaping operator priorities, the company’s ecosystem-based approach to casino technology, and how live testing through Infiniti Casinos continues to inform product development, as DR Gaming Technology looks ahead to 2026 with momentum and a clear strategic vision.
Looking back at 2025, how would you assess the year for the company? What are some of the major takeaways/highlights, achievements, or lessons learned over the past year?
2025 was, without question, the strongest growth year in DR Gaming Technology’s history. That growth was driven primarily by major Casino Management System and jackpot installations with leading operators, most notably Merit International in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Efbet across its entire Bulgarian estate. These projects were not only significant in scale but also in complexity, reinforcing our ability to deliver enterprise-level solutions across large single and smaller multi-property casino operations.
What truly differentiates that growth is how it is supported. Through our sister company, Infiniti Casinos, we were able to continuously test, refine, and validate new features in live environments across Dinant and Oostende in Belgium; Acapulco, Polanco, and Tlalnepantla in Mexico; and Grasse in France. This access to real players and real operators allowed us to incorporate genuine feedback into our roadmap, reduce deployment risk, and accelerate innovation.
The key lesson from 2025 is clear: operators are no longer interested in promises or concepts. They want proven technology, deployed at scale, that delivers measurable results. That is exactly what we demonstrated this year.

Which issues and trends would you say dominated the conversation this year? Any specific trends, markets, or technologies that you believe will drive change in 2026?
The conversation in 2025 was dominated by integration and operational intelligence. Operators are looking to consolidate fragmented systems into unified platforms that provide real-time visibility across the floor, the player journey, and promotional performance.
One of the most talked-about shifts continues to be the move toward system-driven jackpots tightly integrated into the Casino Management System. This enables far more agile promotional strategies and better alignment with loyalty and player segmentation, an approach we have successfully deployed and continue to deploy and refine in live environments.
Looking ahead to 2026, we expect data-led decision-making, cashless and mobile-first engagement, and ecosystem-based platforms to drive the next phase of change. Regions such as Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific will continue to invest heavily in modernisation, particularly where large multi-property operators are seeking standardisation and scalability.
DRGT places emphasis on how its solutions form an ecosystem. Can you tell us a bit more about this concept and how the company’s products work together?
For us, an ecosystem means delivering a single, unified platform rather than a collection of disconnected tools. Our solutions, including the drPlayerApp, our drFloorManager, drAnalytics, drRewards, and our system-driven jackpots, are all built on a shared data foundation and designed to work seamlessly together.
Player activity tracking informs analytics, analytics drive personalised promotions and assist in optimising floor mix, and promotions feed jackpots and loyalty; add to this real-time operational insight across the entire casino floor for staff, and the result is a more efficient operation and a more engaging, consistent player experience.
What sets this ecosystem apart is that it has been proven in live operations. By deploying and optimising it across Infiniti Casinos, we are able to stress-test functionality, refine workflows, and validate usability before rolling solutions out to other customers. This ensures that operators adopting our solutions are implementing technology that has already been tested under real-world conditions — not in a lab.
What can we expect from the company in 2026? What are the main challenges and opportunities you see in the gaming industry in the upcoming 12-month period?
In 2026, we’ll build on the momentum of our strongest year ever by expanding the depth and intelligence of our ecosystem. This includes enhanced analytics and automation, further cashless and mobile engagement capabilities, and continued international expansion.
Our live testing footprint will also grow, with Berck-sur-Mer in France joining the Infiniti Casinos portfolio from January 2026, further strengthening our ability to validate innovation across diverse player demographics and regulatory environments and further support our growth in the region; not only as an operator, but as a systems supplier in the country too.
The biggest challenge for the industry over the next 12 months will again be managing increasing complexity: from regulatory divergence and data security to rising player expectations. That said, this creates opportunity for technology partners that can simplify operations while unlocking value.
For us, the opportunity is clear: to continue delivering scalable, proven, and player-focused technology, shaped by real-world feedback and designed to generate tangible business results. After the growth and success of 2025, we enter 2026 with strong momentum and a clear vision for what comes next.
