Delaware North has announced that it will discontinue its Betly online sports betting operations in Tennessee as part of a strategic realignment to focus on its preparations for expansion into new markets.
Delaware North is the global hospitality and entertainment company that owns and operates Southland Casino Hotel in West Memphis, Arkansas, the largest casino in the Mid-South, as part of its brick-and-mortar gaming portfolio across the U.S. and Australia.
Its digital gaming portfolio continues to feature the Betly online sportsbook in Arkansas, Ohio, and West Virginia, a state where it also operates the Betly online casino.
“We’re proud of the foundation we’ve built in Tennessee and grateful to our players for their loyalty and enthusiasm,” said Lee Terfloth, vice president of interactive gaming at Delaware North.
Terfloth said Delaware North is focused on building on its successful operations at Southland, Betly in Arkansas, and on investing in the platform. He said Delaware North could re-enter the Tennessee online gaming market in the future.
“As we evolve our business strategy, we’re excited to concentrate our efforts on our existing markets, while also preparing for new state launches that will further strengthen our footprint. We encourage customers who are missing out on the experience to visit the sportsbook at Southland Casino Hotel or place wagers online while in the state of Arkansas,” Terfloth said.
The Betly platform will remain live for Tennessee customers until Dec. 29, 2025, allowing time for players to withdraw funds and close accounts easily and securely.
