International Game Technology (IGT) has expanded its omnichannel slot portfolio in Canada with the debut of Whitney Houston Powerbucks, a slot game available both in land-based casinos and online through the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
The launch marks the latest addition to IGT’s award-winning Powerbucks series, nearly a decade after its introduction. Players can now access the new title at 33 BCLC casinos across British Columbia or play online via PlayNow.com, the province’s regulated gaming site.

The game’s appeal lies in merging Houston’s music legacy with the excitement of seven-figure jackpot potential.
Players are eligible for a CA$1 million ($707,864) static jackpot at any bet level, while the wide-area progressive (WAP) jackpot can be triggered with a qualifying CA$3 ($2.12) wager.
BCLC was the first casino operator in Canada to introduce the Powerbucks link in 2016. Since then, IGT’s Powerbucks games have become one of the highest-performing slot offerings nationwide, having awarded 71 jackpots of CA$1 million or more across Canada.
