The SiGMA Central Europe B2B Awards took place Monday night at Cinecittà Studios, where leading firms in the gaming technology sector were recognized for their performance and innovation over the past year.
Held against the backdrop of Rome’s historic film studios, the event opened with a themed reception evoking scenes from Ancient Rome. Guests gathered for networking and an art auction preview before the formal dinner and ceremony. A six-piece orchestra led by Italian conductor Dario Vero performed film scores, including pieces from Gladiator.
Winners included Pragmatic Play, which was named Best Casino Provider, and Novomatic Italia, awarded B2B Industry Leader Italy 2025. BetConstruct received the title of Innovative Sportsbook Solution, while SOFTSWISS won Best Marketing Campaign for its “Hungry for Success” initiative.
Spribe’s game Aviator earned the Game Changer Marketing Excellence award following a year of global promotional partnerships featuring athletes Alex Pereira, Merab Dvalishvili, Tom Aspinall, and Nina Drama. Other recognized firms included SMARTBET, 0xProcessing, PopOk Gaming, Altenar, SoftGamings, Alea, EGT Digital, and SumSub.
Vero, known for his work in television and cinema, previously appeared alongside Hans Zimmer at the 2024 Vatican “Concert with the Poor,” a charity performance. Monday’s reception was supported by crypto payment firm NOWPayments.
Auctioneer Rick Goddard opened proceedings with a limoncello toast before a short video message from musician Sting was shown to attendees. The singer extended his best wishes to nominees and contributed wine from his personal label, Sacred Love, which was served during the dinner.
Over the course of the evening, 30 awards were presented to companies across game development, software, payments, and compliance. A final honorary award was given to Digitain Group founder Vardges Vardanyan for his long-standing contribution to the global iGaming industry.
The venue choice reflected Italy’s film heritage, with Cinecittà Studios having hosted productions such as La Dolce Vita, Roman Holiday, The English Patient, Gangs of New York, and The Passion of the Christ.
The SiGMA Central Europe B2B Awards were supported by BetConstruct, a supplier of gaming software and services. SiGMA’s next awards event is scheduled for November 30 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, as part of the SiGMA South Asia Summit. Nominations closed on October 27.
