The inaugural edition of SiGMA Central Europe officially begins today in Rome, marking a new chapter for SiGMA's portfolio of global gaming industry events. This first day will allow for pre-registration and engagement activities, including the Welcome Reception and the SiGMA B2B Awards, with the show floor set to open tomorrow, Tuesday.

Running until November 6, the summit is being held at the Fiera Roma, a 100,000-square-meter venue expected to host more than 30,000 delegates, 550 speakers, and 1,700 exhibitors and sponsors from over 150 countries.
The event, powered by RedCore, brings the SiGMA brand to Italy for the first time, aiming to strengthen the bridge between gaming, technology, and regulatory innovation in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets. With a strong mix of high-level conferences, networking events, and cultural experiences, SiGMA Central Europe positions Rome as a new hub for global industry dialogue.
SiGMA’s choice of Rome for its Central European debut is no coincidence. Italy is home to one of Europe’s largest gambling markets, with annual revenues of around €16 billion, but only a quarter of that currently comes from online channels. That untapped potential makes the country a focal point for operators and investors looking to expand in the region.
Over the next four days, the exhibit will become a convergence point for operators, affiliates, regulators, suppliers, and investors seeking to explore new business opportunities. The event will feature four conference stages, a broad expo floor, and a schedule of discussions addressing everything from AI and blockchain in iGaming to regulatory modernization, responsible gaming, and player engagement.
SiGMA Central Europe is hosted at Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s most modern and spacious exhibition centers. The venue spans 100,000 square meters with 10 pillar-free pavilions and 13 meeting rooms, accommodating up to 60,000 participants daily. Exhibitors have benefited from a full 10-day setup window, allowing for more elaborate and creative booths than most global expos.
The inaugural edition opens with high-level participation from European and Italian authorities. European Parliament President Roberta Metsola will deliver the opening keynote on November 4, followed by remarks from Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and SiGMA Founder Eman Pulis.
Metsola, who became the youngest President in the history of the European Parliament in 2022 and was re-elected for a second term in 2024, is expected to address transparency, regulation, and innovation in Europe’s gaming and technology landscape.
Tajani, a veteran Italian and European politician, brings decades of experience from roles including European Commissioner for Transport, European Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship, and former President of the European Parliament.
The event will also feature interventions from Italy’s Undersecretary of State for the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Federico Freni, alongside regulators and policymakers from across Europe. The program includes panels and roundtables exploring regulation, responsible gaming, market expansion, and technology’s evolving role in shaping the industry.
Delegates attending SiGMA Central Europe will find themselves surrounded by history, art, and cuisine. The Eternal City’s accessibility, through its two airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino, and extensive public transport, makes it easy to move between Fiera Roma, hotels, and the city center.
Rome’s cultural and culinary offerings are expected to play an important part in this debut edition’s appeal. From the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain to Michelin-starred dining at venues such as Aroma and Imàgo, SiGMA’s evening calendar allows delegates to experience both the historic and modern sides of Rome.
Throughout the week, the agenda includes executive dinners, gala ceremonies, and cultural highlights designed to encourage meaningful interactions. Among them are the SiGMA B2B and B2C Awards, celebrating innovation and excellence across gaming verticals, and the Hall of Game recognition, honoring individuals who have shaped the industry’s development.
On November 5, delegates will be treated to an exclusive concert featuring tenor Plácido Domingo and South African soprano Pretty Yende at the Auditorium della Conciliazione, located near St. Peter’s Basilica.
That same evening, the official SiGMA celebration at Opus Club will offer a “Mad Circus”-themed party, featuring performances by Yuliya Sehen, Luna Semara, Stephan Bodzin, and JJoy, promising an unforgettable close to the day’s activities.
The exhibition floor at Fiera Roma features a large number of international brands showcasing the latest in gaming technology, software, payments, and content. Leading suppliers, platform providers, and game developers are using the opportunity to debut new products and strengthen partnerships in the European market.
The SiGMA Match app is set to become a key tool for attendees, allowing them to network, schedule meetings, explore the floor plan, and receive real-time event updates. The app ensures that delegates can make the most of their time at the show, with curated agendas and direct messaging capabilities.
The decision to bring SiGMA to Rome reflects the organization’s continued expansion across global regions. Following successful editions in host cities including Malta, Manila, and São Paulo, the Central Europe event underscores SiGMA’s ambition to confirm its status as a truly international brand.
Rome itself offers a blend of history, connectivity, and opportunity. Its role as a major European capital, coupled with Italy’s regulatory progress and the scale of its gaming market, makes it an ideal setting for this debut edition.
The summit also sets the stage for SiGMA’s 2026 calendar, which includes returning editions in Asia, the Americas, and Malta, alongside continued investment in technology and event innovation.
