At G2E Las Vegas 2025, IGT made its first major industry appearance since finalizing its merger with Everi, debuting as a fully integrated global powerhouse spanning gaming, digital, systems, and fintech. The company’s unified vision was on full display, from cross-platform content to new game releases that merge iconic brands like Wheel of Fortune and Cash Machine.

In a conversation with Yogonet, Domenico Pastia, IGT’s Senior Vice President of Global Product, discussed the rapid progress of the integration process, the roadmap for bringing shared content to new hardware, and how IGT’s expanded creative and technical capabilities are redefining player engagement, operator efficiency, and the future of gaming entertainment.

How far along is IGT in integrating its content with Everi's hardware and vice versa? What milestones have already been reached?

We’re in a really good spot, especially considering it’s been only about 90 days since the closing. We immediately dedicated a lot of effort to understanding and aligning the two offers. Now, at G2E, we’re showcasing the opportunity to leverage IGT content on Everi cabinets and vice versa.

A good example is Treasures of the Lamp, a follow-up to Mystery of the Lamp, one of IGT’s most successful titles. We’ve brought it to the Dynasty Sol Sync cabinet, and it’s set to deploy this quarter. That’s an incredible achievement in such a short time, a credit to both the technology and studio teams. The game plays beautifully on both hardware platforms. It’s rare in M&A situations to see this kind of turnaround so quickly.

What’s next in your roadmap?

The next milestone is Tiger and Dragon, given how successful that brand has been. We’re planning a Q1 rollout, but that’s more a commercial decision than a technical one — we’re ready now.

On the hardware side, we’ve already defined key priorities for a unified portfolio. On the content side, we’re merging our studios, combining an incredible pool of talent to ensure we keep delivering strong, successful games.

From a player’s perspective, what does interoperability actually change on the floor?

We have two customers, who are the casino operator and the player, and both benefit. Operators can feel confident that their investment in the combined IGT and Everi ecosystem will have long-term support. Players gain access to a much larger and more diverse game library.

We’re essentially cross-pollinating two portfolios filled with incredible brands, from Wheel of Fortune and Cash Machine to Wicked Wheel and Shark Week. The feedback from attendees here has been overwhelmingly positive.

And on the operator side, what efficiencies or opportunities does this integration unlock?

There are multiple synergies and new sources of value. First, a bigger content library: operators get better, hand-picked games through our disciplined test-bank process.

Second, we’re combining two powerful infrastructures. Our technology stack and global footprint complement each other perfectly, especially between Fintech and Systems. Both segments process massive amounts of data, and now we can use that data to deliver real value. For instance, we’ve launched our proprietary AI solution, TrueAim, on the systems side, which can also enhance fintech applications.

Third, we’re leveraging each other’s brands. We’re launching a Cash Machine and Wheel of Fortune crossover, two of the industry’s top brands, brought together faster than anyone thought possible.

How do you balance consistency with innovation when merging two strong brand identities?

The two companies each bring their own culture and identity, and we’re blending them to create one unified culture. Fortunately, the values are very compatible. Together, we have the critical mass to take creative risks; we can afford to explore bold new concepts while still supporting proven hits.

That also applies beyond content, in systems, fintech, and digital, where we can serve different customer needs with precision. The scale of our combined resources allows for that flexibility.

Now that the company has over 1,000 creatives across 25 studios in nine countries, how are you managing collaboration at this scale?

It’s definitely a large ecosystem: over 1,000 people, though honestly, it’s even more. My role is to make sure we’re cross-pollinating effectively: sharing tools, best practices, and ideas.

I’ve been on a roadshow visiting every location, and the reception has been fantastic. It’s a fine balance between preserving the strength and legacy of each studio while introducing what we’ve learned elsewhere. The studios are receptive, open, and hungry to innovate. We’re already seeing results from this cross-collaboration.

You mentioned the Wheel of Fortune Cash Machine combination. What makes this new title stand out from previous Wheel releases?

Wheel of Fortune has a clear DNA: the wheel, the sound, the anticipation of a jackpot. Cash Machine, especially in its Stepper form, is the perfect complement: simple, iconic, and instantly recognizable.

By adding our Diamond Glass transmissive display technology, a legacy IGT specialty, we can overlay the wheel onto the Cash Machine interface while preserving its familiar experience. It’s a natural, elegant marriage that feels like it was meant to happen. Operators have been saying, “How did you do this so fast?”

And it’s just the start. We’re planning more cross-brand “marriages” with titles like Wicked Wheel, Shark Week, and Whitney Houston.

IGT's Treasures of the Lamp on the Everi Dynasty Sol Sync cabinet

Let’s talk about Treasures of the Lamp, now appearing on the Everi Dynasty Sol Sync cabinet. How does the hardware elevate the experience?

The Dynasty cabinet is an excellent platform: premium, sleek, and perfect for a title like Treasures of the Lamp, which builds on Mystery of the Lamp, one of the best-executed games in the last five years.

We’re showcasing it on an entirely new piece of hardware, and it fits perfectly. It’s a great example of brand extension done right; familiar, but refreshed and elevated by the new technology.

Finally, this was IGT’s first show as a unified gaming, digital, and fintech powerhouse. What message would you like attendees to take away?

We’re building something truly remarkable. We’re in the early stages of the integration, but the synergy between the two companies is already visible.

We’re uniquely positioned to serve both our customers — operators and players — with a full suite of products no one else can match. We don’t see anyone replicating this level of integration in the near future.

For operators, that means a one-stop partner across all verticals. For players, it means access to the strongest portfolio of brands in the business. And in fintech and systems, it means opportunities that no other company can deliver.

We want customers to walk away confident, seeing, touching, and feeling that this new IGT is built to lead the next era of gaming.
