At this year’s SBC Summit Lisbon, 1spin4win took the stage with a clear focus on growth, innovation, and storytelling. The company used the event to reconnect with partners and forge new collaborations, and also to preview its latest slot, Great Hook Hold and Win, ahead of its official release.
Speaking with Yogonet, Senior Sales Manager Jaime Carvajal shared how the summit fits into the company’s expansion strategy, the creative vision behind its new title, and the role of player feedback in shaping the future of 1spin4win’s portfolio.
What were 1spin4win's main objectives at SBC Summit Lisbon 2025, and how did your presence reflect the company's broader growth strategy?
For us at 1spin4win, SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 was more than just a major industry event — it marked a chance to connect face-to-face with the people who make this industry so exciting. Whether it's catching up with long-time partners or meeting potential new collaborators, we always look forward to meaningful conversations that help move both our business and the industry forward.
This year, we were also especially excited to give visitors a sneak peek at our latest slot, Great Hook Hold and Win, ahead of its official release on September 25. It's always a special moment to share a new title with the community. Showing off the game in person allows us to really highlight the creativity, design, and attention to detail that go into everything we build.
Our presence at the summit tied directly into our bigger picture: we're growing fast, expanding into new markets, and focused on building strong, lasting relationships.
As you mentioned, the company unveiled Great Hook Hold and Win at the summit. How does this new release build on the success of Don Catleone Hold and Win, and what key features should players and operators look forward to?
We were really excited to introduce Great Hook Hold and Win at SBC Summit Lisbon — not just because it's a new game, but because it continues a story that's already resonated with so many players. If you've played Don Catleone Hold and Win, you'll remember the three cat gangsters ruling the casino underworld of 1930s America. It was a hit for us — stylish, fun, and packed with personality.

This time, the spotlight shifts. Great Hook follows a hard-boiled detective on his final mission to bring down the mob — a classic cat-and-mouse chase, quite literally. It's a sequel that expands the world and introduces a fresh perspective, while still keeping the charm and familiarity players loved in the original.
In terms of gameplay, we've stayed true to what our players value most: solid, fair math, clean and transparent mechanics, and that signature 1spin4win balance that keeps sessions both exciting and rewarding. Of course, the heart of the action is the Bonus round — featuring the Hold and Win mechanic — which delivers plenty of tension and big win potential.
For operators, it's a win-win: strong visual identity, compelling characters, and gameplay that drives retention. We've designed Great Hook to not only follow up on a successful title but to deepen the connection players have with this unique game universe.
Beyond gameplay, aesthetics and storytelling have become hallmarks of your slot portfolio. How was Great Hook Hold and Win brought to life at Stand B900?
Storytelling is a huge part of what we do at 1spin4win, so when it came to planning our presence at SBC Summit Lisbon, we knew Great Hook Hold and Win had to take center stage. From the very start of our campaign, everything has revolved around this game, and visitors felt that the moment they arrived at Stand B900.
We transformed the booth into a slice of Detective Hook's world. The look, the vibe, the details — it was all designed to pull you into the gritty, stylized universe of our crime-fighting feline. Whether you're already familiar with the story from Don Catleone or discovering it for the first time, we want you to feel that connection immediately.
And to make the experience even more fun (and a bit more tangible), we created exclusive merchandise tied to the game — including a limited-edition plush toy of Detective Hook himself. It's a playful touch, but it really captures what we're about: creating memorable characters and immersive worlds that stick with players — and visitors — long after they've walked away.
With more than 150 slots already in your portfolio, how do you ensure each new release feels fresh and distinctive? Which mechanics or formats are you currently exploring to surprise and engage players?
We get this question a lot — and honestly, it's one we love answering. Even with over 150 slots under our belt, our creative well is far from dry. There are still so many stories we want to tell, themes we haven't touched, and ideas we're excited to bring to life.
At SBC Summit Lisbon
What keeps things fresh is a mix of listening and experimenting. On one hand, we're very data-driven — we look closely at how players engage with our games, what keeps them coming back, and what trends are gaining momentum. But on the other hand, we don't shy away from taking creative risks. Some of our favorite projects have come from simply asking, "What if we tried something totally different?"
A great example is our four-part Japanese slot series. Instead of a one-and-done release, we built a continuous storyline that carried across multiple titles — something you rarely see in online slots. It gave players a reason to stay curious, follow the journey, and feel a real connection with the world we created.
That blend of smart design, bold storytelling, and a willingness to push boundaries is what drives every new release. And as long as players are excited to discover what's next, we'll keep finding new ways to surprise them.
What role does player feedback play in shaping sequels like Great Hook Hold and Win and future titles? Are you noticing specific preferences from players right now, and how much do these trends vary across different markets?
Player feedback plays a huge role in how we shape our games — it's something we genuinely value and actively seek out. In fact, Great Hook Hold and Win exists largely because players connected so strongly with Don Catleone and wanted more. That kind of direct enthusiasm is what pushes us to revisit certain stories and characters, and to expand the worlds players clearly love.
If you look across our portfolio, you'll see a pattern: when a character really clicks with players, we bring them back — not just as a gimmick, but as part of a bigger narrative. Take the Golden Joker, for example — a fan favorite who's appeared in several titles, or the daring duo from Lucky Robbery, who've built up a bit of a cult following of their own.
We're also constantly keeping an eye on player preferences, and yes, those can vary quite a bit depending on the market. Some audiences love fast-paced, feature-packed slots, while others lean toward simpler, more classic mechanics. That's why we combine detailed analytics with real-world feedback — so we're not just guessing what players want, we're hearing it directly and building around it.
SBC Summit offers a global stage. Beyond the new release, what key messages or opportunities did you share with potential partners? Which markets are you prioritizing for further growth?
While we were really excited to showcase Great Hook Hold and Win at SBC Summit, there was a lot more we wanted to share with partners beyond just the game itself. One of the things we're particularly proud of is our suite of promotional tools — designed to help operators boost their performance without needing heavy technical work. Whether it's pre-releases, branded games, or network promotions, we aim to make the process as smooth and effective as possible.
A standout for us right now is our Multipliers Cash & Drops campaign format. It's an exciting twist on the classic Cash & Drops, adding a multiplier mechanic that really ramps up the thrill and consistently delivers results that beat industry averages. For example, our recent campaign, Multiplier Madness, brought a 69% increase in player numbers, a 40% jump in bet counts, and a 70% boost in average bet size on selected projects — numbers we're genuinely proud of.
Looking ahead, we're focusing on growing in Latin America and Europe, where we see fantastic opportunities and strong demand. At the same time, we're gearing up for Africa, which we believe is the next big frontier in iGaming. It's an exciting time for us, and we're eager to build new partnerships and explore fresh markets alongside industry leaders.
Over the last half of the year, the company has welcomed 300 new partners and expanded to more than 150 slots. What do you see as the main drivers behind this momentum?
The first half of 2025 has been an exciting ride for us. We saw some solid growth across the board — a 30% jump in GGR, along with a 21% increase in bet count and over 20% growth in bet volume. What's really driven this momentum is our commitment to what we do best: delivering high-quality, classic online slots that players love.
We're consistently pushing out fresh content, with at least four new titles dropping every month and nine brand-new mechanics introduced this year alone. From classic fruit slots and themed adventures to holiday specials and even a unique four-slot series inspired by feudal Japan, we're always looking to keep things fresh and engaging.
This hard work hasn't gone unnoticed — we've been honored with more than 10 industry award nominations, including at the SBC Awards and SBC Affiliates Awards, which is a real boost for the whole team.
Looking ahead to the rest of 2025 and into 2026, we're focused on growing our family even bigger, aiming to bring on another 200 operators and hit a total of 1,000 partnerships worldwide. We're also planning to expand our portfolio to 200 classic slots, doubling down on our presence in Europe and Latin America, and we'll be showcasing what we do best at SiGMA Central Europe in Rome.
It's an exciting time for 1spin4win, and we can't wait to keep building on this momentum — creating games that players love and partnering with operators who share our passion.
