Gaming technology provider Zitro increased its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) training by 1,300 hours in 2024 compared with the previous year, exceeding its annual target.
The ratio of ESG training hours per employee rose to 3.12 hours in 2024 from 2.31 hours in 2023 at Zitro’s offices in Spain. The company credited the expansion to joint efforts between its Sustainability and Learning departments.
Zitro said the initiative reflects its commitment to safety, health, the environment, and governance, and underscores a broader strategy to strengthen employee awareness and advance sustainable management practices.
As part of its environmental objectives, Zitro aims to optimize resource use, enhance energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and manage waste in line with ISO 14064-1 and ISO 14067 standards.
These efforts are designed to support long-term operational sustainability while complying with environmental guidelines.
Zitro’s social policy includes programs intended to foster workplace diversity and inclusion, ensure employee well-being, and support community development. Workplace safety is also part of the outlined objectives.
In the area of governance, the policy addresses transparency, adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks, cybersecurity, and responsible gaming practices.
