Foxwoods Resort Casino has opened a new poker room inside The Fox Tower, expanding its gaming options with upgraded technology and amenities.
The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live dealing, and a $25,000 hot seat giveaway.
“From day one, Foxwoods has been about energy, evolution, and putting our guests first,” said Jason Guyot, President & CEO, Foxwoods Resort Casino. “The new poker room is a statement of pace, comfort, and competition – delivering an unrivaled experience for every player.”
Guests will find upgraded amenities, easy access to dining and nightlife, improved parking, and a direct connection to Foxwoods’ recently renovated hotel. The poker room itself is equipped with automated sign-up kiosks, 37 high-definition TVs streaming live sports and poker, and nearby DraftKings Sportsbook kiosks.
“The expectations of today’s players are high, and Foxwoods delivers with next-level technology, elevated amenities, and every convenience imaginable,” said Bryan Hayes, SVP of Gaming Operations, Foxwoods Resort Casino. “This marks an exciting new chapter for poker on the East Coast.”
Foxwoods, one of the first casinos in the U.S. to host a poker room, says the upgrade reflects its commitment to modernizing play and meeting rising expectations from both casual and competitive players.
