Mohegan Sun named Best Casino for Slots in USA TODAY 10Best Awards

Mohegan Sun has been named the No. 1 Casino for Slots in the 2025 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

The resort also earned second place in three categories: Best Casino Hotel, Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas, and Best Players Club for its Momentum rewards program.

Nominees in each category were selected by a panel of experts, including USA TODAY editors, contributors to 10Best.com, and journalists from Gannett outlets nationwide. Readers then voted online over a four-week period, with more than 5 million monthly visitors participating through 10Best.com.

This year has been especially strong for the resort. In dining, Michael Jordan’s Steak House won “Best Casino Fine Dining,” TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge earned “Best Casino Casual Dining,” and Beauty & Essex was named Connecticut’s “Best Immersive Dining Experience” by Yankee Magazine.

On the entertainment front, the resort’s 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena earned the title of “Best Casino Performance Venue” in the Best of Connecticut 2025 awards and was highlighted by Yankee Magazine as one of the “10 Best Things to Do in Connecticut This Summer.”

The honors come as Mohegan Sun celebrates several major slot jackpots, including a $1.37 million win on Jumanji Next Level and a $412,607 win on Monopoly Cash Wheel. The resort also introduced its new Sky Slot Tournament Zone, featuring popular titles like Wheel of Fortune and Cleopatra.
