DraftKings’ Golden Nugget Online Casino has launched in Ontario, expanding into one of North America’s largest regulated iGaming markets with a portfolio of more than 2,000 games.
The app, available on iOS and Android via DraftKings’ technology platform, offers slot titles, table games, and exclusive DraftKings-developed content. Golden Nugget Online Gaming was first acquired by US sports betting giant DraftKings in 2022. Ontario becomes Golden Nugget’s fifth regulated market, following earlier rollouts in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Ontario’s iGaming sector remains the dominant vertical in the province, generating CA$2.4 billion ($1.74 billion) in casino revenue in fiscal 2024-25, up 36% from the prior year, according to iGaming Ontario. Total gaming revenue rose to CA$3.2 billion.
Golden Nugget’s Ontario players will earn access to slots such as Huff N’ More Puff, Cleopatra, and Hypernova Megaways, with jackpots exceeding $1 million. The platform also includes exclusive DraftKings-developed games like Rocket, Dollar Up, and Quakey Shakey, alongside a loyalty program and customer support.
The launch comes as Golden Nugget continues to post strong results in New Jersey, one of its most established markets. In July, the operator’s online casino revenue reached $71.2 million, placing it among the leaders alongside Borgata and Resorts. Golden Nugget Atlantic City reported $12.9 million in casino win for the month.
New Jersey’s iGaming market generated $247.3 million in July, a 26.6% year-on-year increase, bringing year-to-date revenue to $1.63 billion, up 23.3%. Overall gaming revenue in the state rose 10.7% in July to $606.2 million.
