Industry leaders from across Southeast Asia and beyond will gather in Bangkok next week for SPiCE Southeast Asia 2025, a three-day conference aimed at tackling the region’s most pressing issues in gaming, regulation, and digital finance.

Scheduled to take place from August 13 to 15 at The Landmark Bangkok, the event is expected to draw executives, regulators, and investors for high-level discussions on casino legalisation, compliance, cross-border crypto payments, and the future of integrated resorts in the region.

Day one, August 13, will open with a networking reception, dubbed the “SP’iCE’ Breaker,” designed to encourage informal exchanges among delegates ahead of the formal sessions.

The second day, August 14, will feature a series of panel discussions and keynotes covering topics such as the economic impact of casino legalisation, responsible marketing, diversity as a business driver, and crypto-enabled compliance strategies.

Confirmed speakers include Mary Mendoza, Calvin Lim, Jared Valarao, Priya Ahlawat, and John Ross Calderon. Dr. Amy Remes will present next-generation lottery innovations, while Nicholas Levenstein will offer a practical framework for growth-oriented investment decisions.

The final day, August 15, will delve into the regulatory outlook across Southeast Asia, including a session with a particular focus on Vietnam. Shaun McCamley is set to deliver a solo session exploring the country’s shifting gaming policies, followed by a hands-on workshop led by Riaan van Rooyen on designing integrated resorts that balance entertainment and hospitality.

SPiCE Southeast Asia 2025 is expected to attract representatives from over 100 companies, including Booming Games, Cloudflare, DigiPlus Interactive Corp., Jade Entertainment, LSports, SoftGamings, Sumsub, and the National Gaming Control Board of Papua New Guinea, among others.

Organisers say the event will provide strategic insights and practical tools for navigating Southeast Asia’s evolving gaming landscape. With legalisation efforts underway in several jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks still maturing, the conference aims to position stakeholders for long-term growth.

Registration remains open, with organisers encouraging sign-ups from operators, legal experts, and technology providers looking to gain a competitive edge in the region.
