Known for its dynamic portfolio of fast and skill-based games, Galaxsys has steadily carved out a name for itself in the iGaming space with products that balance innovation, engagement, and performance. In a bold strategic move, the company entered this year the competitive slot vertical, bringing with it a fresh perspective, a data-driven approach, and a vision for redefining player experience.
In this interview with Yogonet, Galaxsys' Vigen Safaryan, Chief Product Officer, speaks about the company's latest expansion to uncover what’s driving this new chapter. From the design philosophy behind their first slot releases to their ambitions for long-term innovation, Galaxsys shares insights on how it plans to stand out in a crowded field and what players and operators alike can expect from the journey ahead.
What key factors drove the strategic decision for Galaxsys to enter the slots vertical this year? How does this move align with the company’s broader vision and growth trajectory?
The decision to enter the slots vertical was a natural evolution for us. We’ve built a strong reputation in the fast and skill game categories, and the success of that portfolio has given us the confidence and the foundation to expand further. Player expectations continue to evolve, and operators are constantly looking for fresh, diverse content.
Launching slots allows us to serve a wider audience while applying our creativity and technology in new ways. Strategically speaking, this move aligns with our long-term vision of being a full-spectrum games provider and positions us for broader global growth.
With the slot market being so competitive, what will make Galaxsys stand out? Are you integrating any specific gamification elements or mechanics that will make Galaxsys' proposal a game-changer in player retention?
We understand that the slot space is incredibly crowded, which is exactly why we’re entering it with a clear focus - to deliver highly distinctive experiences that go beyond visuals.
Every Galaxsys slot is designed with advanced math models, fresh features, and gamification layers that help operators retain their players. We are introducing mechanics like x2 Chance, layered bonus journeys, and personalized engagement tools. Our development is guided by data and deep player behavior analysis, so we’re not just adding more slots—we’re building experiences that matter.
You’ve already launched three slots—can you walk us through these titles and the inspiration behind them? What types of player experiences were you aiming to deliver with these first releases? How has the market responded so far to these games?
Our first three slots—El Dorado, Funny Faces: Hoglet-Moglet, and Olympian Legends—each bring something different to the table.
El Dorado offers the thrill of a traditional slot game with a unique twist—one line featuring multiple sections for big wins. Funny Faces: Hoglet-Moglet is a fun game where every moment is filled with playful charm and non-stop energy. And lastly, Olympian Legends is inspired by the mythological themes and features powerful visuals and layered bonus games that build anticipation.
The early feedback has been very encouraging. We’re already seeing solid engagement metrics, and that’s a great validation for our direction.
What can you tell us about the upcoming slot titles? What themes, features, or mechanics can players expect?
We have two new titles launching in July, Fruity Wilds, which features modern slot mechanics and explosive features, and Gates of Asgard, a 3x5 slot inspired by Scandinavian mythology.
Beyond these releases, our partners can expect a variety of themes ranging from classic concepts to bold, innovative ideas that stand out in today’s market. We’re introducing new feature sets designed to create more interactive and rewarding gameplay experiences, while also focusing on mechanics that enhance player retention.
Is there a target number of slot titles Galaxsys aims to release monthly or annually? And how are player data and market trends influencing your roadmap for future slot development?
Our roadmap for this year includes around 10 new slot titles, with a balanced release schedule to ensure each game gets the attention it deserves. We’re not chasing volume for the sake of it—our aim is consistent quality.
Player data plays a central role in our planning: we continuously analyze volatility preferences, bonus engagement, session length, and device usage across different markets. This ensures that every release is optimised for relevance and performance.
How do you envision Galaxsys’ slot offering evolving over the next 12 months - and what about the longer term?
In the next 12 months, we aim to further solidify our position as a trusted content provider with a diverse slot portfolio. We’ll continue to explore creative themes, refine our promotional tools, and release titles that combine fun with strong monetization potential for operators. In the longer term, we want Galaxsys slots to be recognized not just for variety, but for consistency in innovation.
