Attendees at this year’s iGB L!VE in London are set to explore how Formula 1 strategies can be applied to the operational realities of the iGaming sector, as Claire Williams OBE takes center stage as the event’s keynote speaker.

The former deputy team principal of the Williams Formula 1 team will speak on July 2 at the Pulse Stage at ExCeL London. Next month's edition of the show is the first one to be held in the UK's capital.

Williams will join journalist and broadcaster Nadine Dereza in a session focused on leadership, performance culture, and data-driven decision-making drawn from the world of elite motorsport.

"There are a number of ways that Formula 1 can inspire businesses and provide tangible takeaways for iGaming operators of all sizes, from product innovation to navigating entry into new markets,” said Williams.

She noted the importance of agile leadership, continuous improvement, technology adoption, and recruiting top problem-solvers—characteristics that are increasingly relevant to businesses operating in competitive and regulated environments.

Williams led the Williams F1 team during a period of structural change and performance rebuilding. Overseeing more than 1,000 employees, she was responsible for operational management and long-term planning as the team worked to improve both on-track performance and internal culture.

Her keynote, Driving Operational Excellence with F1’s Claire Williams, is one of 30 sessions taking place during iGB L!VE. The session will explore how leadership in high-pressure, high-precision environments can inform business practices across sectors. The full program is available at igblive.com/event-schedule.

Naomi Barton, global portfolio director for the iGB brand, described the keynote as a key part of the event’s program focused on operational improvement and leadership strategy.

“I am delighted that Claire, who is one of only two women to head a F1 team in the modern era, will be bringing her experience and insight to what is a historic edition of iGB L!VE,” Barton said. “Her keynote will be one of many ‘must attends’ of the iGB L!VE experience and will underline the brand’s focus on driving increased performance in the industry as well as our unswerving commitment to diversity.”

iGB L!VE 2025 is expected to draw approximately 15,000 professionals from across the global online gambling and affiliate ecosystem. The event, held in London for the first time, will feature exhibitions, networking opportunities, and sessions focused on regulation, product development, and new market entry.

Event details are available at igblive.com, where registration for the London edition is currently open.
