Play’n GO launches new candy-themed slot King of Sweets with cascading reels
iGaming content provider Play’n GO has released King of Sweets, a new 5x5 cascading grid slot that blends vibrant visuals with feature-packed mechanics in a confectionery-themed adventure set in the whimsical world of Sweetland.
The slot follows the King of Sweets, a fondant-robed ruler armed with a mythical "Bomb of Taste," as he attempts to revive lost flavours across the sugar-dusted kingdom. The game features a full narrative arc, drawing comparisons to earlier Play’n GO titles like Sweet Alchemy and Reactoonz with its cascading wins, energy meters, and character-driven design.
At the heart of the game is the Sweet-o-meter, a charge feature that fills with symbol removals and cluster wins. Reaching various milestones on the meter triggers features such as Delicious and Candy Craze, which introduce new Wild symbols and cascade reactions.
Wild variants include the Sweet King Wild, the Flavour Unicorn Wild, and high-value Multiplier Wilds of up to 10x. These combine during the Flavour Frenzy Free Spin, where up to seven wild effects can activate in a single round.
