The second day of the ‘Leaders’ conference track at SBC Summit Americas, set for Thursday, May 15, at the Broward County Convention Center, will bring together a diverse group of C-level executives, founders, legal experts, and media leaders for a day of strategic discussions shaping the future of the betting and gaming industry across the Americas.

With over 10,000 attendees expected at the event, the agenda is designed to offer in-depth analysis of key regional trends, from the evolution of omnichannel gaming to regulatory developments and the increasing importance of local market expertise in Latin America.

The day will open with “Casino Leaders: Bridging the Gap Between Digital and Land-Based,” a panel exploring how operators are redefining player engagement through integrated online and retail gaming platforms.

Panelists including AGS's Zoe Ebling, Galaxy Gaming’s Jason McCulloch, Agua Caliente Casinos’ Saverio Scheri, Sun Gaming & Hospitality’s Bobby Soper, and Caesars Digital’s Ricardo Cornejo Rivas will examine innovations such as influencer marketing and seamless digital transitions that unify the customer journey.

Later in the day, “Boots on the Ground: The Importance of Local Talent in LatAm” will offer insights into the role of regional expertise in navigating the complexities of Latin American markets. Executives from Sorte Online, Betsson, iGaming Latam Consulting, and Rei do Pitaco will address how assembling locally based teams enhances cultural understanding and long-term operational success.

A key regulatory discussion will be featured in the “Sports Teams Leaders Panel: Amateur, Collegiate & Professional, Should the Goalposts Move?” Moderated by Evan Davis, with input from ESPN’s David Purdum and NCAA’s Mark Hicks, the session will evaluate the proposed NCAA ban on individual sports betting and its broader implications for the future of amateur and collegiate athletics.

Additionally, the SBC First Pitch Competition will highlight entrepreneurial innovation, offering five startups the chance to pitch their ideas for a prize package valued at over $110,000. Each participant will present live to an audience of industry experts and investors.
