Win Systems, will participate in the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas from October 10-13. The gaming technology provider announced that it will exhibit at booth #4447 its latest developments to optimize casino operations and the player's experience, and that its casino management system, Wigos, will occupy a leading role.
In an exclusive interview with Yogonet, Oscar Giralt, Win Systems' corporate marketing manager, referred to the upcoming in-person and online gaming event and highlighted the role that tools such as WINUP will play. He also shared his thoughts regarding the company's development in the past few years and its projections for the future.
What will the visitors who visit your booth find on this occasion?
G2E is undoubtedly one of the key events for Win Systems throughout the year, and we are ready to show how our WIGOS casino management system offers state-of-the-art solutions to optimize casino operational management while maximizing the player experience (our continued strong growth after the pandemic attests to this), and to exhibit how our machines and our premium electronic roulettes offer the best solution for any of the markets that will be visiting us during the show.
What are your expectations for your participation in the event and what will make you stand out from the competition?
We are convinced that the new solutions we will present will place us once again one step ahead, starting with the Systems Division that will unveil our long-awaited wallet, WinUp, as well as our state-of-the-art InTouch displays with HD graphics, powerful sound system, notifications, videos, etc. and an incredible themed jackpot that will join our portfolio of jackpots already available with WIGOS.
In our Gaming Division, we will also display the latest titles we have available in slots for the US and Canadian markets, as well as new titles for our extensive library of games and links, a powerful offering of games for routing, etc. Also in electronic roulettes, we will exhibit the 25th Anniversary Lumina, whose exclusive design captivates wherever it goes, as well as several other models.
But if I had to say which product will really make the difference, I think I would opt for WINUP, because in addition to the features offered by existing wallets (easy management of funds, both inside and outside the casino, as well as a very agile connection to the machine to be able to play), it is designed to give the player access to all the services offered by the casino, as well as access to the Players Club, and could even integrate online Gaming platforms if offered by the casino. WINUP will give a lot to talk about and will become a reference in the industry, we are sure of it.
How would you assess the growth of Win Systems with WIGOS in the Americas?
We have always said that America is our natural market, this is where WIGOS was born and grew. After the pandemic hiatus, we have resumed growth with WIGOS in markets where we are already well established, such as Mexico, while we are rapidly expanding in markets that hold great potential for us, such as the United States, but also others like Peru, Canada, Caribbean markets, among others. In order to continue to enhance this growth, we continue to incorporate great industry professionals in all areas, the latest example of which is the appointment of the seasoned executive Angelo Palmisano as Chief Strategy Officer.
In less than 3 weeks we'll be attending the Global Gaming Expo (G2E)! All visitors will be welcome to our new booth #4447!

What are your plans for the rest of the year and what are the company's future projections?
Specifically speaking about WIGOS, we have several projects confirmed and ready for installation from now until the end of the year, both in several casinos in the United States and in the rest of the American and European markets where we operate. Additionally, we are working very hard on some big projects that we are very excited about. As I mentioned earlier, we are growing at a very fast pace with WIGOS, and we are clearly on an upward trend.
What role will your latest development, WinUp Wallet, play in this expansion?
Operators are becoming more and more demanding and expect their casino management system to be more than just a tool, they expect us to become a partner of the casino to improve the player's experience, build loyalty, to offer a high added value service not only inside the casino but also when the player is not there, to offer new communication channels, better and more secure payment methods... All of which we can offer with WINUP, and that is what makes it so distinctive.
What other products are currently playing a leading role in the company's growth?
Win Systems has the aim of being a global supplier for casino operators and this forces us to raise the level of self-demand in all our divisions, not only in Systems, where in addition to WinUp we have developed the new generation of InTouch displays and a totally innovative thematic jackpot (to mention just two of the examples that we will exhibit at the fair) but also in the Gaming Division. In this regard, the success of the 25th Anniversary Lumina roulette in the markets where it has been presented gives every guarantee of its growth potential, thanks to its exclusive design and the improvements in the game cloth and the software it incorporates.
We are also investing a lot of effort in slots to continue launching games with distinctive elements, and operators will be able to see this at our stand. And, of course, let's not forget about our R&D. In this regard, we will soon be presenting new products that are destined to be an important factor in our plans for the future.
We've got a little (big) surprise... Hope you like it! Please let us know 😉

How would you assess the work carried out this year and what are your objectives for the medium and short term?
After a promising 2021 with the resumption of activity in the sector, for us, 2022 was a key year to confirm that the expectations became reality and that we could resume the strong level of growth we had before the pandemic. We are very satisfied with the results obtained this year; we are able to continue growing and consolidating our position in markets where we have a consolidated presence (Mexico, Colombia, and Peru, among others).
At the same time, we are obtaining incredible results in strategic markets for our development, such as the United States and Canada, Spain, but also in other key markets in Latin America and Europe. As in the past, this momentum is opening the door to new large-scale projects that we hope will materialize. We have also identified our areas of development in the short term, so we have full confidence in the strategic plan we have in place.
In June you told us that you have "projects underway to move towards the convergence of land-based casino with online casino." What is the status of those projects so far and what is the company's next challenge in that area?
At Win Systems, we are convinced that the future lies in an increasing convergence of land-based casino gaming and online game offerings. We no longer conceive a different player in one or the other, and instead we understand that the same player will be able to choose which platform he/she wants to play on at any given moment.
This is a paradigm change for both operators and suppliers. We have to be able to offer platforms where the player can interact with the casino wherever they are, and give tools to operators to communicate and manage their offer to players in a unified way. And WINUP is clearly a tool in that direction, it is conceived as the first step toward the omnichannel casino offer.
Have you confirmed your presence at any other upcoming event?
Yes, we are reinforcing our strategy also on the European continent, with the development of products and solutions adapted to the different markets, with more and better talent in our European sales team, and attending fairs such as BEGE in Bulgaria in November, as well as at ICE London in February, which will be the first major fair we will attend in 2023.
