“We have the biggest stand at ICE London, and from all of us at Pragmatic Play, we are expecting a lot of attention"

Ahead of Pragmatic Play's presence at ICE London 2022, Yogonet spoke with Victor Arias, Vice President of Latin American Operations at the company, who described the expectations for the showcase to be “the biggest in Pragmatic Play’s history”.

The global iGaming supplier has expanded its presence at ExCeL London, and will exhibit from Tuesday to Thursday (April 12-14) at stands N4-230, N4-250 and N4-210. “We’re going to have the biggest stand at the event, and from all of us at Pragmatic Play we are expecting a lot of attention and our expectations are huge. We're looking forward to seeing a lot of our friends, colleagues and partners visiting us,” he said.

Arias also anticipated details about the showcased products attendees will find at the company’s stand, including its complete casino content portfolio, from slots to Live Casino, Virtual Sports, Bingo multiplayer and more. “But most importantly, and I think one of the things that is going to make the difference, is the official launch of our new Sportsbook platform”.

After attending both GAT Expo in Cartagena and SAGSE LatAm in Buenos Aires, Victor Arias had the opportunity to “test and taste the public, to experience what is in everybody’s minds now after COVID and after all this pandemic situation, which made us all change”.

“Everybody needed that face to face experience, that personal contact with the rest. Just a handshake to say hello or a meeting glue to close a deal. All of that was necessary. And the number of people attending showed us that there was an actual need for the industry to get together again”

“The pandemic was very unfortunate, but it taught us that we must be open and ready for any type of eventuality in the future. It also tested our possibility to adapt and made us understand that this industry is only going to grow”, Arias assessed. “We actually experienced, during the last two years, a growth and we have a more mature industry”.

He also pointed out that other groups, such as the land based ones, were forced to convert to online. “I think ICE is going to be another perfect scenario for all of us to get together to speak, to greet and to talk business. It’s what the industry is waiting for”

As the company sponsored both GAT Expo and SAGSE LatAm, Arias explained that the company always studies the culture first. “We study the market. We study what we’re doing. We study our growth. And based on that, we make a draw of our strategy and application. Now, do we learn? Yes, of course we learn from each one of the events. And what I can tell now is that the next event is going to be a lot better than the previous two”. 

The company is also currently expanding its Latin American footprint with new deals in Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil, among other jurisdictions. 

“Expanding and having our product available in as many markets as possible make us grow and make us position our company as a brand and as a company with all the products in a very privileged position. Today, we are one of the favorite products and brands in the whole Latin America market. So basically, as you grow in exposure, the most users and commercial partners will look for you. It has been a great, great race conquering the whole region. And I'm proud to say that as of the day, we are present in most or in all the Latin American market and we are working on enhancing that exposure. And of course, we're working on having our brand positioned as one of the leading brands and providers in the region”.

Pragmatic Play already has a plan map for exhibiting, sponsoring and attending other events in the region. After ICE London, the company will be present in Chile, and will participate in all the events taking place in Perú, Miami, Las Vegas, Canada, México and Colombia.

“We're going to be basically participating in each one of the confirmed events in the region. So, we're going to be busy. We're going to be basically bringing the Pragmatic Play’s experience to the main events and the market. We're looking forward to meeting our partners, friends, and colleagues. Share a cup of coffee and shake hands. It's what makes the events worthwhile”.
