Rodrigo Larraín Kaplan took office yesterday, marking his return to the company after leaving in February 2013 to take on a role in Cencosud. He is succeeding Eliseo Gracia Martínez, who was serving as interim general manager after Gerardo Cood left the company in January.
When Larraín Kaplan left Enjoy, Javier Martínez, a family member of the casino and hotel firm' founders, sent a public email to the employees to praise the work of the then Chief Financial & Investment officer, El Mercurio journal reports. During the seven years he held that position, he led key moments such as when the company went public in 2009 and its global expansion strategies.
Larraín will be responsible for concluding the investment transactions related to the municipal casinos' licenses awarded last year, as well as the integration of the venues in Los Ángeles and San Antonio. He will also be in charge of more strategic tasks, such as strengthening client fidelity and engagement strategies.
