Spanish regulator to host a workshop on technology applied to online gambling

"RegTech egambling international workshop" will include the problem of identifying participants in online gambling and the role of “digital onboarding” and biometric identification processes; practical solutions to the control of payment frauds; among others.

The Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling in Spain (DGOJ, by its acronym in Spanish) organizes the first edition of the "RegTech egambling international workshop" that will take place on the morning of June 17th at Madrid.

During the event, there will be several practical sessions related to the use of technology in the online gambling sector, such as: the problem of identifying participants in online gambling and the role of “digital onboarding” and biometric identification processes; practical solutions to the control of payment frauds; geolocation on the Internet and behavioural tracking techniques for detecting problematic gambling.

In the near future, the DGOJ will publish more details of the event and the full agenda. However, due to capacity limitations, as of today seat reservations can be made by sending an email to the address [email protected].
