On Tuesday, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will hold a public meeting discussing the approval of a site for its $500 million Boardwalk project from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

The expected site approval for the project will come less than 24 hours before Hard Rock’s three-city press conference to announce the casino hotel’s opening date and entertainment lineup. The company will live-stream the conference Wednesday from Hard Rock Cafe Times Square in New York to its preview center in Tanger Outlets The Walk in Atlantic City and Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia.

The CRDA also will vote on approval of a fund reservation for the 2019 Miss America Competition, details of which were not available Monday.

Additionally, the authority will vote on authorizing an amendment to its agreement with the city to fund special law-enforcement officers for the Tourism District this summer in an amount not to exceed $1.5 million.

Also on the authority’s agenda for its 2 p.m. meeting is an amendment to its agreement with the Inlet Public Private Association reallocating $52,000 in remaining funds to supplement 2018 operations and fund repairs for the Absecon Lighthouse.
