Hard Rock Atlantic City will announce grand opening next week
Executives from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will officially announce the resort’s grand opening date and entertainment lineup at a press conference April 18.
The press conference, set to begin at 11 a.m., will take place in the Tanger Outlets at 101 N. Michigan Avenue. There will also be simultaneous press conferences announcing the resort’s grand opening date in Philadelphia and New York City, according to a statement from the company.
Those press conferences will take place at the Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia and the Hard Rock Cafe New York City.
When Hard Rock bought the former Trump Taj Mahal last year, executives told The Press their goal was to have the resort open by summer 2018. Next Wednesday will be the first official announcement of an opening date. Renovations on the building are expected to total $500 million, according to previous press reports.
