MGM National Harbor, located in Prince George's County and which cost $1.4 billion to build, has driven growth in monthly casino numbers, ranking in the highest revenue among the state's casinos every month since March 2017.
According to Baltimore Business Journal, the resort generated $60.4 million from slot machines and table games last month, a 17.9 percent year-over-year increase compared with March 2017. The previous monthly record of $141.2 million was set a year ago.
March was a good month for other Maryland casinos, as well, with four registering an increase in revenue.

Horseshoe General Manager Erin Chamberlin recently told the BBJ that the casino hopes to draw in new business with upcoming plans to develop an entertainment district on Warner Street near the South Baltimore casino.
