Microgaming receives Guinness World Records certificate at ICE
On 6 October 2015, Mega Moolah set a Guinness World Records title for the ‘Largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game’ when Betway UK player Jon Heywood won the GBP equivalent of €17,879,645.12 from a 25p spin.
The certificate presentation was followed by an exclusive Q&A session with Heywood, the player who won more than 52 million times his bet.
“It’s been a few months since the win, but I still can’t quite believe I won such a life-changing amount! And to officially become a Guinness World Records title holder is the icing on the cake.
