Finnplay has moved to strengthen its presence in the African market by entering into a partnership with Ghanaian-based betting agency Simplebet.

Finnplay has moved to strengthen its presence in the African market by entering into a partnership with Ghanaian-based betting agency Simplebet.

The solution, which will be rolled out across Simplebet land-based locations, will enable customers to access a range of sports betting services.

“Africa is a rapidly expanding market for sports betting both land-based and online,” Finnplay’s vice-presidnet of sales Erkki Nikun said.

“Our BillFold Kiosk Platform is designed for any form of gaming at a physical location. For Simplebet we integrated a betting product from Betinaction to deliver the requirements needed for the Simplebet business.”, added.

Ernest Badu, managing director of Simplebet, added: “We have been operating in Ghana for several years as a licensed betting agency. As our business has grown, we needed to scale the business and select a technology partner with expertise within retail sports betting. Finnplay’s kiosk solution met all our local requirements, both technically and commercially and we look forward to continuing to grow our business.”
