MGM clinches deal with Detroit Lions

Gaming and hospitality firm MGM Resorts International has announced that its MGM Grand Detroit subsidiary has entered into a long-term agreement with NFL American football team the Detroit Lions.

Gaming and hospitality firm MGM Resorts International has announced that its MGM Grand Detroit subsidiary has entered into a long-term agreement with NFL American football team the Detroit Lions.

The terms were not disclosed.

The ‘MGM Grand Detroit Tunnel Club’ will accommodate more than 100 fans and guests of the casino during Lions’ home matches and stadium events.

Those in attendance at the new facility will have access to an up-close view of Lions players leaving and entering the locker room, while other amenities on offer include a corner lounge celebrating Detroit and early stadium access.

The lower bowl in the west endzone area of the stadium is also being extended to include field level seating for tunnel club members.

Steve Zanella, president and chief operating officer of MGM Grand Detroit, said: “Our team is excited to enter into this partnership with the Detroit Lions.

“The MGM Grand Detroit Tunnel Club is truly a collaborative, unique and one-of-a-kind game day experience that further extends our long-standing relationship with the Detroit Lions.”
