How do you evaluate Gasser Chair’s participation in ICE?
Gasser Chair Company’s participation at ICE is paramount. As we were probably the first USA manufacturer of seating for the hospitality and gaming markets to exhibit at this show, it has certainly continued to allow us the opportunity to claim our share in this market place.
How did operators respond to the new products that you have presented?
We received many positive comments from not only customers, but the design industry as well, with regard to our HALO BASE slot unit. We had a video playing during the show illustrating the feature of this unit along with an actual sample. Many casino operators viewed this as not only easy movement for their players, but also the staff when seating needed to be repositioned.
What was the business climate that you could perceive in Earls Court halls?
Traffic was moderate and it’s no big surprise that the entertainment business as a whole is still off, but there were some good indicators of upcoming projects that help us remain positive as we move forward in 2012.
What was the feedback that you received on behalf of the operators that visited your stand?
Again, the most viewed unit was our slot stool with the HALO BASE as discussed above.
What are the next shows that you will attend to as exhibitors?
We will be exhibiting at HD (Las Vegas), NRA (Chicago), Great Plains Indian Gaming (Minnesota) and Southern Gaming Summit (Biloxi, MS) in May.
