Lab tests took place in Las Vegas by GLI (Gaming Laboratories International, lab with which NYCE has subscribed a technological alliance) and the on site verification was held in the facilities of Codere group, in Mexico City.
After the Tax Administration System (SAT) published the latest edition of “Modification to the law amending 2010”, last June 15, manufacturers and software developers has not leave out the certification activity, nor they have waited to exist a new chance that authorities define a final date to demonstrate the compliance with the Mexican norms, to run the certification process and be prepared for this imminent obligation.
Such is the case of HTS, a company dedicated to develop software and casino operator in Colombia, whose General Director, Aldrin Clavijo, commented: “The compliance of local and international regulations is key in the development of this kind of projects, because it brings an important base within the frame of legality and also brings our customers the guarantee that our system works correctly”.
“I think that now we will have benefits such as counting with NYCE support before SAT, the opening of new business opportunities in the gaming sector and the increment of the credibility and trust of our customers,” he concluded.
The certificate was issued July 28, 2010, at the facilities of the Certification Entity, with the presence of representatives from both organizations. Now, HTS can use the certification logo that NYCE grants to certified products, which is a guarantee of quality.
J. Salvador Sánchez A., Vice-Chairman of TI Operations of the certifying company, pointed that the gaming industry continues its consolidation and expansion process in the country, and that it is better to do it through the installation of systems and certified electronic devices.
He also explained: “Our goal is to bring security to users, and we want them to dedicate to have a nice moment of entertainment and leave us, NYCE, the task to demonstrate that they participate in a game which is 100% secure and random”.
