Konami released in FADJA its games for the Latin American market

What novelties did you present in the current FADJA edition?
In FADJA we launched for the first time Mystical Temple in Spanish, all the games in Spanish, and all the progressives and machines adapted to the Latin American market.
It is the main release. Additionally, we are showcasing the two main platforms, we have: Advantage 5 and K2V, which have a big series of games customized to the Spanish language in order to attend the market in Colombia and the neighboring countries in a better way.

Which has been the feedback of the visitors?
Very interesting. It is the first time we come to this show and we are releasing our product officially here. Most of the operators that visited us had positive results and we are very optimistic in order to be able to expand our sales in the Colombian market.

Which is the strategy to grow in this Latin American market and which are the main markets you wish to target?
Basically, the main market for us is Colombia, that’s why we are here, and we want to focus in the Colombian customers. This is with regards to the Northern part of Latin America, because, for the Southern part, we are focused in Chile, Argentina and Uruguay, we are going to do it in SAGSE Buenos Aires.

However, we are focusing mainly in Colombia, a market in which we are penetrating now. Our products have a very good performance in the whole region: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Panama, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean region, where the products were very well accepted. We believe the same thing will happen in Colombia. In Latin America, we have most of the countries covered. Besides, this year, one of Konami incentives will be the expansion to the European market. With this, Konami shows the opportunities that we have in all the markets. Despite the crisis, which is affecting a bit to all of us, we will continue moving forward, because our position is to find the way to help operators beat the crisis.
 
Has the firm been affected by the worldwide crisis?
Konami is doing a very big investment in the international market. There is a bit of a crisis, but the truth is that we do not believe it will affect our business. That’s why we were present in this show, and we will assist to SAGSE Buenos Aires, to G2E, to attend the whole market and provide a product that can help operators to enhance its interest in casinos.
 
How do you evaluate this event, considering that it is the first time you are here?
I am very impressed with this event, above all, for the quality of the products of the competence. Surely next year we Hill also participate, with a stronger penetration in Colombia and demonstrating the commitment of Konami with the Colombian and, in general, the South American market.
