TAB-Austria presents its new gaming platform "Golden Island"

Many details must be taken into account when developing casino equipment to satisfy international standards. Each country has its own laws and standards governing such things as access authorizations and age limits. However, TAB-Austria doesn't see these requirements as obstacles but as challenges. And so the completely overhauled "Golden Island" products feature modern technologies while complying with all aspects of international standards.

The growing number of games based on international standards means that there's something for everyone - particularly in view of the fact that two new slot-machine games are ready for market release: "Aloha Hawaii" and "Hot Fruits". TAB-Austria also paid particular attention to the cabinet design and a clear menu, which convinces with its fast game changes, ease-of-use and an intuitive look-and-feel that helps players quickly find their way around.

The jewel in the range's crown is the elegant "Golden Island Casino" cabinet featuring extra-wide 22" screens in the 16:10 format. The lower display is for controlling the games and is equipped with a high-resolution touch-screen. This area for controlling the games possesses an ergonomic layout and the sound system has been provided with four loudspeakers and a subwoofer to deliver maximum playing pleasure. Coin acceptor, bank note reader or ticket printer: as with all cabinets in the "Golden Island" range, the "Golden Island Casino" may be individually adapted to customer requirements.

It has been built to the GLI-11 standard developed by Gaming Laboratories International Inc. to satisfy the demands that casinos place on single-player machines. The cabinet is made entirely of metal and the elegant design is rounded off by chrome strips on the sides. A separate switch in the logic box allows a variety of different configurations to be set.

Besides the "Casino" version, the "Golden Island" product range also includes the "Nevada" cabinet, the "Cosmo" bar unit and the space-saving "Go4Gold" cabinets which are optionally available with one or two displays.
