IDX selected to power 250 gaming tables with X-Trend system at the Westside Resort

IDX, a global provider of casino display technology, has announced a major new agreement to supply its X-Trend system to the upcoming Westside Resort.

The property, supported by Travellers International Hotel Group (the operator of Newport World Resorts) and executed through Entertainment City Resorts Corporation (ECRC), is set to become a new flagship integrated resort destination in the Philippines.

When Westside Resort opens later this year, it will launch with 250 gaming tables fully equipped with IDX’s advanced X-Trend displays and software. 

Entering the Manila gaming market, Westside Resort’s executive team identified the need to establish a distinct visual identity within a competitive landscape. To support this objective, the team conducted a series of evaluations and trials of display solutions available in the market. Following this process, IDX was selected as the provider.

In addition to visual design considerations, IDX’s technological architecture was a factor in the selection process. The X-Trend system provides centralized network management, enabling operators to manage and update displays across the casino floor from a single system.

The IDX software was also selected for its compatibility with the smart table technology being deployed at Westside Resort, supporting consistent data integration across systems and facilitating operations for both players and staff.
