At SAGSE Powered by Play’n Go, organizers unveiled the winners of the online voting which started at the beginning of the month to select the best companies from 2020. Yogonet won its category by a wide margin.

The open voting released by SAGSE organizers on February 8th closed on Wednesday with the awards ceremony held at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo racetrack.

Among the categories rewarded through the votes cast by suppliers, businessmen, regulators, and operators in Latin America, Yogonet.com was chosen as the ‘Best Gaming News Outlet’, receiving the greatest number of online votes.

A front runner in the region, Yogonet was selected by over 70% votes, representing a wide recognition of the news platform’s hard work.

With almost 20 years in the gambling industry, Diego Fiz, partner and one of Yogonet’s directors, commented: "Firstly, we would like to thank SAGSE for including us in this category, and of course, everyone who voted for us. In these almost two decades of career, we have always strived to offer a high-quality news service that provides valuable input for our readers. And although we may not always fully succeed, we are constantly setting goals to excel ourselves. We are 100% confident that our platform is testimony to our efforts. This type of recognition helps us in our relentless pursuit for excellence."

Pablo Zuppi, partner and Yogonet’s other director, added: "This award serves as a very important recognition for us as it comes not from one single industry leader, but from multiple executives, businessmen, and regulators who cast their vote. We want to thank SAGSE for this and we hope we are able to return the favor to those who voted for us with our daily work, by keeping the sector updated by striving to become the best gaming news site, with our eyes towards the speedy recovery of the industry at a regional level."
