Realistic Games has released The Fruit Machine, their first truly multi-channel game.

The five reel, 20 line B2/B3 slot, which boasts a unique Reel Runner bonus round and an innovative gamble feature, is available to Ladbrokes’ retail players via the terminals in their 2,000 strong UK estate.

The online game, which was launched simultaneously with the retail version, showcases many of the same features, appropriately tailored for its digital environment.

It includes a Super Game mode consisting of five linked spins, where the chances of entry to the bonus round are increased.

If three or four Reel Runner scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels, the Reel Runner Bonus Round is awarded, while the appearance of five of them triggers the jackpot.

A near namesake version, called the Fruit Factory, has also gone live with Realistic’s other digital operating partners.

Realistic’s new CEO, Andy Harris, described The Fruit Machine and its provision across multiple channels as a game changer for the Reading-based provider.

He said: “The Fruit Machine is not only a fantastic game it is also available in every possible format, including gaming terminals in retail for the first time.

“As a company with its origins in land-based gaming it is great to be able to draw on that heritage to help produce a ground-breaking game that provides the optimum player experience no matter what device you play it on.

“So many companies talk about multi-channel, but to actually deliver a game that plays equally well, and with great empathy, across the full range of key channels put us in the top rank of suppliers.”
