By wagering online or at any of Coral’s land-based shops, players of The Health Lottery will now take home the standard cash prizes along with up to us$ 1.5 million for correctly picking all five numbers and matching the bonus ball with their Million Pound Number pick.
The Health Lottery is owned by Richard Desmond, the same man behind the Daily Express and Daily Star newspapers alongside OK! magazine and Channel 5, and one of its constraints was previously thought to be its us$ 159,709 top prize, which fell well short of the multi-million rewards offered by the rival UK National Lottery. Its results are broadcast on Channel 5 at 9:55pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays while players using the new Coral service will still be able to collect other cash prizes including us$ 15 for correctly selecting two numbers and a bonus ball and us$ 32 for three accurate picks.
“This is going to go down a storm,” said Simon Clare from Coral. “It will only be a matter of time before we are celebrating our first Coral The Health Lottery Plus millionaire for just a us$ 1.5 bet.”
