(UK / Singapore).- The Great Britain Gambling Commission has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Singapore. Under the arrangement, the two organisations will collaborate in areas such as information and knowledge sharing, exchange visits and training opportunities.

The CRA also said that the agreement would help to strengthen the regulatory frameworks of both countries in response to the dynamic international gambling landscape. The MoU was signed by Lau Peet Meng, CRA chief executive, and Jenny Williams, CEO of the Great Britain Gambling Commission.

Meanwhile, Lay Peet Meng has also been appointed president of the International Association of Gaming Regulators. He will succeed Susan Hensel, director of licensing for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. His term lasts until October 2014.
