he new deal will include lottery programs showcasing iconic images from the Latin American traditional game, Loteria: it will create Don Clemente’s Loteria Lottery Games.

The new agreement between the two companies will include lottery programs showcasing the authentic, iconic images from the Latin American traditional game, Loteria - a game of chance that has been played by generations of people throughout Mexico and other Latin American countries. Loteria has been a tradition for more than 200 years and the games from MDI Entertainment will exclusively feature the trademarked images from the best-known version of the cultural pastime.

In addition, FremantleMedia and MDI Entertainment will continue offering state lotteries rights to some of the most popular television game show brands in history including Let’s Make A Deal, The Price Is Right, Family Feud, Card Sharks, Press Your Luck and Match Game. Lotteries will be able to feature logos and artwork from these shows on instant scratch tickets, as well as additional lottery games.

Previous agreements between the two companies resulted in numerous successful lottery games featuring FremantleMedia’s game show portfolio.

"FremantleMedia and MDI Entertainment have created an extensive lottery program where everyone has an opportunity to win," said Andrea Brent, Vice President of Licensing, FremantleMedia. "Adding Don Clemente’s Loteria, which features iconic pictograms from the game’s richly decorated playing cards, is a great addition to our existing portfolio of brands that are currently available to lotteries. Players will immediately recognize the images as the true Loteria they know and love."

"FremantleMedia is a valued licensor, and we’re gratified that they have chosen to extend our relationship with them," said Steve Saferin, President, Properties Group and Chief Creative Officer for Scientific Games. "Our lottery customers have enjoyed tremendous success with instant tickets featuring the game show brands we license through FremantleMedia, and Loteria already has an excellent track record in the lottery industry. We’ve offered the authentic Loteria brand for many years and with FremantleMedia as the licensing agent, we look forward to many more years of creating attention-grabbing tickets featuring the original, one-of-a-kind artwork from this legendary game."
