(Macau).- Gross gaming revenue may reach over us$ 3.8 billion this month, according to Citigroup and Nomura. They are predicting May to exceed their estimates of us$ 3.68 billion. They say that table gaming revenue for the first 19 days of the month amounted to us$ 2.26 billion, Bloomberg reports.

Japanese brokerage Nomura continues to expect the full month to come in within the range of us$ 3.68 billion and us$ 3.80 billion, up by between 15 % and 19 % year-on-year.

“Given the pickup in growth momentum, May is tracking closer to the higher end of the range provided, and the house doesn’t see slowdown in the remaining 12 days,” Nomura said.

Monthly gaming revenue rose to a record us$ 3.84 billion in March.
